Are you looking for a cute printable calendar that can be filled in on your computer?
My printable calendar is exactly what you are looking for!
I created this 18 month calendar to use on my own kitchen refrigerator. Watch the video above to see exactly how I turned this printable calendar into a tear-away magnetic pad!

Four different versions of the calendar are included.
You can choose whether or not you want a margin at the top of the page and whether or not you want holidays included on your calendar.
If you are making a tear-away pad or don’t need a margin at the top, use version 1 or 2. If you are using a binding machine or 3-hole punch, use version 3 or 4.

Once you decide which version to use, fill in your important dates on the computer.
Using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (free), you can type your own information into the calendar and then print the finished calendar with your custom dates.

Turn your calendar into a tear-away magnetic pad!
Here are the step-by-step instructions for how I turned my calendar into a tear-away magnetic pad:
Supplies needed:

8.5″ x 11″ Chipboard – This will be the backing for your calendar.
Magnetic Tape – You can leave this out if you don’t want to mount your calendar on a magnetic surface.
Super Glue – This will be used to secure the magnetic tape to the back of your chipboard.
Padding Glue – You will paint this adhesive on to the edge of your pad to create the tear-away surface.
Small Paintbrush – You will need a paintbrush to apply the padding glue.
C-clamps – You will need these to hold your calendar together while applying the glue and while it dries. I love these Pony hand clamps – they are very easy to clamp down and release.
- Super glue a length of magnetic tape along one of the long sides of the chipboard. Attach C-clamps for about 10 minutes while drying.
- Line up your printed calendar with the chipboard, making sure the magnetic strip will be on top.
a. Put a blank page on top of the calendar so you don’t need to be careful when applying the padding glue.
b. Use folded card stock, excess chipboard, or wood between the pages of your calendar and the clamps to avoid leaving lines on the paper. - With c-clamps on, paint along the top edge of your calendar with padding glue. Use a paintbrush and follow the directions on the bottle. Only a very small amount is needed. Wash the brush after you’re done. Let your calendar dry for at least 10 minutes and apply more padding glue if needed.
- Consider letting the super glue fully cure for 24 hours before using your calendar. If not, at least make sure there’s no glue squirting out the sides of the magnet, so you don’t get super glue on your fridge.

Ready to download this printable calendar?
This printable calendar is easy to use.
However, you do need a program that will open .pdf files. The best option is Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, and you can download it for free from Adobe’s website.
Do you want detailed instructions?
I will walk you through how to use this calendar, step-by-step.
- After checking out, you will download a .zip file with the four different versions of the calendar.
- Open the .zip file and extract all the files into a new folder or on to your desktop.
- To open the .pdf file, open Acrobat Reader DC first, and then select File: Open.
This will ensure your .pdf is opening in Adobe Reader. If you double-click the .pdf, it might open in a different program, and you might not be able to edit inside the document. - Select the version of the calendar you want to use.
You’ll want to use version 3 or 4 if you are using a binding machine or a 3-hole punch, because those versions have a substantial margin at the top of the page. If you are making a tear-away pad, or don’t need a margin at the top, use version 1 or 2. - Once you have the calendar open in Acrobat Reader, you can fill in the blue areas with your important dates.
(The blue areas will not print. Only fill in the dates you want to. If you want to leave it blank, just leave the blue area alone.) - The text will automatically resize as you continue to type, so you can fit quite a lot of information into each date.
- When it’s time to print, select “Actual Size” (Don’t choose ‘Fit to Page’)
